Over the years, Sylvia has treated countless clients with semi-permanent makeup, helping to create natural, balanced results that enhance features without ever looking overdone.
Something that hasn’t gone out of fashion over the years is getting the “right” brows.
In clinic, we work with everyday brow frustrations like:
“They never look even”
“One brow always sits higher than the other”
“I spend ages filling them in, and they still don’t look right”
“They disappear halfway through the day”
That’s exactly why Ombre Brows have become such a popular option.

Why Brows Make Such a Difference
Brows frame the face more than most people realise.
When they’re slightly uneven, sparse, or lacking definition, it can throw off the whole balance of your features, even if everything else feels right!
On the other hand, when your brows are softly defined and symmetrical, everything looks more polished without needing much makeup.
That’s the goal with Ombre Brows.
What Are Ombre (Powder) Brows?
Ombre brows are a semi-permanent brow tattoo designed to create a soft, shaded finish, similar to the look of lightly filled-in brow makeup.
As the years have passed, Sylvia has seen brow trends develop from bold brows into soft and subtle. Instead of drawing individual hair strokes (like microblading), this technique builds colour gradually through soft layering.
The result is:
more definition without harsh edges
a gentle gradient through the brow
a shape that looks consistent every day
a finish that can be as soft or as defined as you prefer

Why Many Clients Choose Ombre Brows Over Microblading
Microblading is still a great option for some people but it doesn’t suit everyone.
Ombre brows are often the better choice if:
your skin is oily or combination
you’ve had microblading before and it didn’t hold well
you prefer a more polished look
you regularly fill your brows in with makeup
you want something that lasts longer and fades more evenly
For many clients, it’s simply a more reliable option.
What Kind of Results Can You Expect?
Ombre brows should never look harsh or overly “done.” When the treatment is carried out properly, the result is soft, balanced, and tailored to your face.
Rather than blocky or heavily tattooed, the colour is built gradually to create a gentle gradient through the brow. This means the front stays lighter and softer, while the tail has a little more definition, giving structure without looking heavy.
Once healed, most clients find their brows look consistently shaped, more even, and naturally defined, as though they’ve been lightly filled in with makeup but without the daily effort.
Most clients find they wear far less makeup, or none at all on their brows after the treatment.

The Ombre Brow Treatment Process
Appointments usually take around 2–3 hours, and everything is done carefully and gradually.
We begin with:
a full consultation
mapping and shaping the brows to suit your face
choosing a pigment that complements your colouring
A numbing cream is applied, and then the pigment is gently implanted using a machine to build the soft shading effect.
Most people describe the sensation as mild and very manageable.
What Happens After Your Appointment?
Healing is straightforward, but it’s helpful to know what’s coming:
brows will appear darker straight after
the colour softens as they heal
light flaking may occur
final results settle over 4–6 weeks
How Long Do Ombre Brows Last?
Ombre brows are semi-permanent, meaning they fade gradually over time.
Typically:
results last between 1–3 years
a top-up is needed after your initial session
colour fades softly rather than patchily
This is one of the reasons many clients prefer them over microblading.
